Right/wrong people at the wrong/right time.

I paid my hairstylist a visit after two long months. Perhaps the setting is different (he is freelancing now), i.e. liberated and more relaxed, he talked incessantly for the whole 4 hours we were there.

Not a bad thing but weird considering he told us on our very 1st visit or so, that he did not really like engaging in surface talk with customers. Furthermore, I really rather have a moment of silence when I have my hair washed, instead of having someone spew saliva all over me while he is at it (exaggeration).

Collin chose to maintain his silence. So that leaves me to carry the conversation for most part of the four hours. We talk about his childhood, his family, our love life, tattoos, piercings, life in general, and the usual hair talk.

As I told Collin, we probably know more about him this trip than all other previous trips combine together. Haha.

Anyway, he said this – cliché but I seem to find extra truth and wisdom at the moment he said it:

Most of the time, we meet the right people at the wrong time. Too young, too early, emotionally unavailable, attached, you name it.

But there are always some people who meet the wrong people at the right time. These are the people who get married and end up regretting or in divorce.

Love is a game. Or perhaps more of a gamble.
Calculated risk, yes but it is also all about luck.

And timing.
