HAPPY 21st, Geo!!!
The UG gathered and celebrated Geo's birthday on 5th May at Settler's Cafe, Holland V.
It's the perfect place 'cause it is 100% legitimate for us to be loud and yes, very LOUD. The way we like it and we live it up.
FYI: We didn't make the back drop. It was already there. So it's not us, we are way better than that.
It's my first time at Settler's but I knew prior the visit that the draw of Settler's is their board/card games. Which is why I think it is ridiculous they charge people to play their games ($2.20 per hour). I mean yes, there are people who spent a little and hogged the tables the entire day. But we ordered lots of food and drinks from them and still have to pay that extra charge. I think they need to revise their charging system, like seriously. (I haven't even complain about their dodgy location. Omg.)
But still, we had FUN! as always. And here's Geo's favourite game.
Ok lar. I did think it is quite fun after all (though I vehemently protested initially). We are so good at it, our Jenga is still going strong when the group behind had already toppled their Uno Stacko twice or thrice.
And the loser is: Haowen, Shiwen's boy. Heh.
Collin and I tried to sneak a shot in between, and yes, it only takes two jokers to spoil the pic.
A third-party-wannabe (Meiqi) grinning brightly at the background and a spontaneous photographer (Ting) who chose to include her in the pic. -_-
Then, the standard cake ceremony.
I think after my birthday, everyone knew what to expect, i.e. fix gathering --> wishlist --> birthday cake --> present. *yawn* Geo did not look surprise when we brought out the cake AT ALL.
See, we have nothing against you, Geo. But who the hell cut the cake diagonally and 3/4 into its length?
They say couples complement each other. Thankfully, here's Ron who did a marvellous job savaging the cake. :)
We got Geo the Vera Wang perfume she wanted. Similar to the picture below except it was way nicer 'cause we got her the limited edition one that comes with Swarovski crystals in it.
And Geo was very happy until...
she realised the bloody hell perfume bottle leaked.
The Classic Reaction
So Geo was shocked and Meng was in denial that it actually leaked (ahh, not really lah, just trying to find out where it leaked out from). And yes, Ting's happy that it leaked and proceeded to give everyone a free round of Vera Wang on the wrists. Haha.
And it didn't really turn out right. Haha.
