Divine Today.

Random niceties made my day. :)

Like getting a good grade and very positive remarks for a certain silly assignment. I say s-i-l-l-y because it makes up a mere 2-pathetic-% of our final grade, and the lecturer calls it “reaction” paper but yet demands references from us. Still, yep, that made me happy.

Like witnessing a really pretty sunset with a peach-orange sun in full view on my way home. Though unfortunately, I didn’t have my camera to capture that scene. Being able to bask in that moment was good enough I supposed.

Like boarding the bus of a cute bus driver, whose physical appearance aside, has the basic courtesy to stop for lagging passengers such that all the heaving and panting is worth the while. Courtesy is the new cute.

Like lending a listening ear to a dear friend and above all, is the fact that we were all there and we somehow helped. That’s what friends are for.

Like knowing someone very dear made effort to make tomorrow’s Sentosa trip possible. (Yep! My getaway materialised!!) I appreciate that loads. Tomorrow will be a rolling good time with Pebs on the beach.

Like hearing some even more random and rare niceties from the same someone and that made Happy Today become Divine Today.

Life can be simple.

But school just have to screw that all up. Busy weeks ahead and nope, I ain't giving up! Here’s your daily dose...

Something you will only learn in books #2:

Monochronic culture
: observe linear, clock time
: time is tangible and can be considered saved, spent, wasted, lost, etc.
: schedule dominated – deadlines are important
: punctuality highly regarded

Polychronic culture
: observe cyclical time
: time is less tangible and is seldom considered wasted
: stresses more on relationships, i.e. people
: punctuality not highly priortised

Conclusion: I am a polychronic individual living in a highly monochronic society.

If you don’t already know, I think I am gaining the reputation of the-girl-who-is-always-late in not just one class, but ALL my classes.

Read my expression. It says whatever.

P.S. Divine Today also because msdivineshopper* has launched new items. Go check it out here! :)
