an "updates" entry for you habitual blog readers who continues to visit this blog despite me saying i'll be taking a hiatus till the twenty-eight. wells.. :)

if there is anything who has came to replace my abstinence from msn/blog, it will be FLOWERPOD. urgs. i can spend the whole day surfing - looking for things to buy, refreshing the spree page a dozen times a minute, reading up on skincare/cosmetic tips and yea, running out to buy those stuffs after reading all the raves.

so far i only got a benefit dandelion blush (and got rejected for my lip balm/gloss order *sigh*), which i don't know exactly why i am getting since i am never much of a make up person. besides, it cost a freaking S$45 and that's before all the shipping fees i got to pay. but you should have seen how those girls rave about it, makes me lemming for more!!! (i wanna get a georgia too!)

like i have to get that origins mask marvels after exams. and some stila lipglaze, or maybe mac lipglass. and and stock up on my za true white essence masks. not forgetting to start my online shopping spree after exams with xiang!!!

and yes, i am in the midst of examinations already. 1 down, 5 more to go.

two on wednesday. one on friday. another one on saturday. and one last one next monday.

i even changed my wallpaper to something that screams for me to study. but didn't help. this is so screwed.

can't wait for hols to come.

i can smell whiffs of it already. :)


ps: i sound like some consumerist/materialist in this post. but i am only being singaporean. ha.

facial-products-craze!

i get so excited buying facial products nowadays.

i mean, i literally run to get it when i am only using it much later.

acquisitions yesterday and today:
- skii facial cleanser
- olay white radiance salon treatment mask
- za true white essence mask

bwah. this is crazy. instead of studying when i really really should, i surf flowerpod the entire day and there was this forum raving about how good za true white essence masks are in lightening pimple scars.

after reading through the whole thread, i ran out to get the masks. all within 10 minutes.

all this despite the fact i just replenish my olay masks earlier today.

so i am MIA quite a lot nowadays. i swear i just had the most busy days of my life and from the look of things, it's just gonna be busier and busier until 28 november comes. i swear nus is trying to murder me. exams are coming in 11 days (considering the time now) and i am still rushing projects.

check: 2 more presentations and 3 more reports.

why don't you just kill me? from now till 28 november, i am going to be in my own shell and mug myself to death. there is no way i am going to give up after slogging most part of the sem. (the funny thing is though, i am slogging so hard but i ain't catching up with my work AT ALL. the whole sem has been projects projects projects.)

i shall make central library my second home. i shall study till my eyes pop out, my brain juices stop flowing, till.. till.. till my very last breathe. intensive intensive.

now i promised to blog about my advertising campaign on Creative mp3 players, and i also promised to blog about my prettyyy cousin's wedding. (we grew up together and she is getting married, can you believe it?)

i shall blog about the latter, since (1) i need to give my mind a break from academic stuffs, (2) a calm and clear mind is needed to bring out the msg of the advertisements and i obviously lack one now, (3) 'cause i know you guys prefer to see hot babes than some-ads-qimin-is-very-proud-of. :(

the story begins with 5 girls (and a boy) who grew up together.


despite the convoluted family hierarchy (thingy), being around the same age makes us ONE. of course we were simplistic and you can say, childish. we played wedding games and dreamt about how our wedding day will be like when we grow up one day.

so on this day - 04 november 2005, one of the 6 childhood friends took a step towards fulfilling that dream.

it's true though - i've got nothing interesting to blog about.
no out-of-the-world thinkings, no weird philosophies, no photos, no new happenings. and i refuse, i REFUSE to do another entry on school work. that's just so.. *yawn*.

in another 11 hours, the best advertising campaign in the world, or so i say, will be revealed to the class of 100 odd people. i am so excited!!! i'm praying that we do a good job in presenting our ideas. nail that A+ man! (ambitious, ambitious.)

i ain't presenting btw. i have been assigned the most important job one can ever imagine!! i am the BUNNY GIRL - so basically i'll just stand there and look pretty. hold up the advertisements. smile. stand properly. smile again. the presentation's strictly formal, so no bunny ear, no cute tail and whathaveyou to don though i would really love to try that one day. (nothing kinky about it, please.)

ahh, i'm such a bimbo at heart. and in case you are wondering, i earned my place to not present ok? worked my ass off for the report.

erm, i realise i just seriously contradicted myself with the last 3 paragraphs. academic talk. darn.. i've got no life.

and further proof of my lack of life - i met up with my two separate project groups on both the public holidays this week. the ultimate was going back school on tuesday, i.e. deepavali. yes, central library was open and the crowd makes it look like it's an average school day. wtf. nus.

yesterday was slightly better. at least it ended up with a brief shopping trip with me getting the Marks and Spencer chocolate digestive biscuit (for mugging) and a new tube of pimple cream from ROC (some french brand my project mate recommend me). it's been a long hiatus from shopping and yesterday was definitely not my day 'cause everything i wanted to buy doesn't carry my size anymore. ahh.. that esprit tee and mng jacket. *sulks*

ok. i shall return to edit my jap studies report.

cousin's wedding to attend on saturday (argh, i haven't got my dress tailored yet!),


erm, the bride's standing behind me and is blocked by my grossly big head. but since it's her day on saturday, i promised photos of the beautiful young bride. (i swear you'll eat your heart out she's officially taken. pretty pretty!)
