Shop, eat, shop, eat, SHOP, SHOP, SHOP!!!

Time check: 02:04 AM

And gosh, the night is still young! I have a dozen things to do before I am allowed to sleep, that is if I ever finish them at all!

Mental list:
- Pack my luggage
- Do up a certain something *very high importance*
- Go through the forums

(flowerpod, les dames, cozycot = 200+ pages to go through)
- Pack up room after doing the above --> the impossible task

Despite the arduous lineup, typical me just spent my last four hours watching various variety/talk shows. BRING ON THE DISCIPLINE, because I sadly had none.

Digress: At this instance, I am trying hard to recall the last time I was ever early or punctual. Then I realized they are such foreign terms to me. Urps. Don’t laugh, but I truly hate being late despite being so ALL THE TIME. (And I said don’t laugh, right? Hmph.)

I suspect the planning of this trip must have stressed me out a little. Just the other night, I dreamt that it was minutes to check in and I haven’t packed my luggage yet. So in the dream, I saw myself running home and eventually brought an empty luggage to the airport.

Fwah. Lame shite, I know. That’s why packing of luggage now tops of my mental list.

Then I just realized minutes ago, I have no suitcase for the trip!!! My brother, who is now in Bangkok, took the one I was planning to bring. And my sister just flew to London yesterday bringing along her mid size one. What luck..

So now, I have to make do with this rather fugly looking luggage my dad so kindly offered. It’s blue and brown, with a metal strip that reads Xuyang. Goodness, it is so going to look bad beside Collin’s sleek brown Victorinox (which he is going to sell off after this trip to buy the red Victorinox he is eyeing right from the start; anyone interested? Heh).

Not that the comparison bothers me. But lugging around a rather odd looking luggage does. Oh wells, make do. This ugly thing is going to bring back all the pretty buys from HongKongggg.

I am so going to shop shop shop, till I drop.

And did I mention I have an extremely high level of tolerance when it comes to shopping. (I said it all with my blog address right from the start, didn’t I? *wink)

5 days.
3 girls.
3 guys.
(of which, there are..)
4 hardcore shopaholics.
All set to invade hong kong.

You are warned.

TKBand is dynamite.

Our fifth consecutive win at SYF. Not just Gold but yes, the Best Display Band Award. (Yours truly is very proudly to be in the batch that scored that first two wins.)

Did they think we are kidding when we claim that we are the best band in the land? We are the best, in every sense of the word(s). Heh.

Too bad I wasn't able to make it to both the April and July competitions this SYF, but my spirit was with the band and it always will. Did they feel it?

Some things changed, but the TKBand blood that flows through us remains - till the very day we die. I remember the lessons Mr Siao taught us.

One thing, I am glad we stayed true to ourselves. A usual good round of instrument gimmick. I think I saw a series of Ks (kaleidoscope formations) in it. And yesss, no fancy dancers (thank goodness)!!

Here goes, the Best Band in the Land - TKBand:

I miss my french horn.
I miss doing drills.
I miss that feeling of togetherness.
I miss my section - the hornies.
I miss the band.

Band... Everytime you go on a battle, you have the blessings of all 40 (and counting) batches in front of you. Maybe that's what makes us "undefeatable". :)

Hong Konggggg, here I comeee.

BLOGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!
(optional insert: BIATCH!)

Hands up all you people who came to my blog and so wanted to scream the above into my ears. Urps.

I hear you alright. Bah. I’ve been one busy busy girl. Yes, even after D*D*B.

First, there was the “business” Xiang and I set up. It started out as more of an interest which quite swiftly evolved into a mini business idea. With this, we finally fulfill the entrepreneur dream we had since one, or maybe close to two, years ago. :)

Hope all you lovelies have checked out Little Red Heels by now. If you have not, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? Hur hur hur!!! (I am so not forcing you all to visit the blog, so not! Heh.)

Go take a peep ‘cause I’ve spent a great deal of time doing up the blog skin. And yes, the name is all girly and perhaps a wee bit bimbotic. That is intended. Haha.

Then there are random job assignments from my sizzling hot babe, Dorcas** and my rather cute looking but bizarre agent. *Ka-ching* I smell moneyyyyy. Yayness!! Which brings us to the next point…

My Hong Kong trip with Collin, Xiang, Jackson (Xiang’s bf), Fengxue and Tong (FX’s bf) on the 30th July to 3rd Aug. Bring on the money, ‘cause yours truly is ultimately broke. Goodness. I am prepared to return to Singapore penniless; and I mean totally penniless! No back up account; no secret stash; nothing.

I believe I will return happily bankrupt. Lalalalala~

** Dorcas, if you read this, I think you should really go full time in the events department. You are a born talent and it suits your very red, hot and sexy image. Just remember to keep me in your top of the mind list! Heh. Love you deep deep, n*h n*h p*k!

Last but not least, I’ve fallen ill again. Not another episode of fits (no, thank you very much) but high fever, which eventually became two (very) horrid days of diarrhea. I’ve recovered as of today and thank goodness, life can only be looking UP from now on.

Photo's time!

Pics from the Singtel job Dorkie baby so kindly offered us. We became walking billboards for two days and all we have to do is carry this huge paper bag and do what we always do on weekends - shop, eat and shop some more.

Quoting Dork, yes, paid to shop! Too good to be true.

Red Hot Job, from one Red Hot babe, for Red Hot babes and hunks only!

A random candid shot by Collin but that's not the point.
Xiang, I didn't realise our hairstyle that day was that similar.
And that's Jackson, Xianggyy's bf.

We had many many stares and were loving it. I am skeptical though, of the effectiveness of this campaign. Not exactly talk of the town, and not much call to action. We don't even have to give out pamphlets or anything, but I am NOT complaining. Heh.

Sindy and I did a even better paying job on Wednesday for Singtel. Would have been more fun if I wasn't feeling half dead already. Didn't take much photos 'cause Sindy babe was feeling equally drained from her mj night. Poor us. I went in sick and came out of it feeling even more lethargic. Fever and diarrhea aside, I topped it all with sore throat plus stiff neck at the end of the job. Great...

Will upload what I have as soon as I get my hands on the cammie which is now with Collin who needs it for his SMU community service shite. Haha.

Gosh, it's 4:08 already.

Love you all.

Min. Out.

Still brewing...

almost done with brewing..

the great revelation this saturday! stay tuned. :)

Renew understanding of myself.

Sorry I seem to have neglected this blog big time. Wells, not that I’ve been busy with the other blog either. Life has been a drama ever since my apprentice*ship started 8 weeks back, and it has kept me real busy that my virtual life had to take a backseat.

I hope you are happy to know that my apprentice*ship has ended last week and yes, that would mean I will resume to do what I do best - logging my life stories here.

Referring to my previous entry, you will probably understand what I meant if you’ve been reading the main D*D*B apprentice*ship blog. See, 2 weeks to the end of my apprentice*ship, the management threw us a challenge and the 6 apprentices were divided into 2 opposing teams to work on a mock business pitch.

Time wasn’t on our side and we had to work round the clock the day before the big pitch. Just 12 hours before the pitch, i.e. 4am, I fell into an epileptic fits. Yes, fits. Something totally out of the world for someone who doesn’t smoke, never did drugs, doesn’t drink much; who live a rather active lifestyle; and who is accustomed to late nights and constant staring of the monitor.

Lots of eerily hilarious details happened when I was in my fits, and the thing is I remember none of these. All I remembered was me working on my laptop and the next thing I know, I woke up in this place called the A&E. Fantastic.

My subconscious self is a natural joker. Here's proof:

When my colleagues asked me if I knew I had fits, I pointed to my feets and went "Feets? Are they popular?"

And I asked the paramedics if the heart rate monitor is “special” before allowing them to clip it to my finger. They replied me, ya, special. -_-"

And the ultimate, doing my signature victory (V) hand sign when they pushed me up the ambulance on the stretcher.

Bizarre I know. And eerie too. (I have made the point to pay the temple a visit.)

Collin and his dad were utmost nice by standing by me in this chaos since my parents were away for a business trip. (He doesn’t read this, but this incident really takes my appreciation for him to a whole new different level.) To say the least, it is difficult to accept such stuffs when you have considered yourself to be 100% fit and healthy in all your years.

I can’t predict if it will happen again; I can only hope this will be the last time it happens.

the mind is larger.

It's my fourth attempt in trying to blog about what happened the last few days.

In a nutshell.

Life has this funny way of telling you there is so much more to life, so don’t assume you know it all. Yes, even if the subject matter is you yourself.

Yes, it is scary. Scary when you don't even know your body.

I am afraid.
